Prenatal diagnostics

Prenatal diagnostics encompasses various medical examinations during pregnancy that serve to assess the development and health of the unborn child as early as possible. These include both non-invasive methods such as ultrasound and special blood tests, as well as invasive procedures such as chorionic villus sampling or amniocentesis. These tests can provide indications of genetic changes, developmental disorders or certain diseases.

Important: These examinations are voluntary. You can take your time to decide for yourself what information you would like to have – and what you would rather not know. Your medical team will accompany you throughout the process, answer your questions and support you in all your decisions.
